[He'd gotten the information on the device now, even if he was still wary of it. Anybody could of been listening in. He doesn't trust the voice feature too much, though. But he had to use it, to find out if his brothers were really in this village.]
Don, Raph? Are you guys out there?
[If this was voice, there would be a tinge of concern and worry, in his voice.]
Don, Raph? Are you guys out there?
[If this was voice, there would be a tinge of concern and worry, in his voice.]
[Action]
[- while Don goes to boil some water. Tea or hot chocolate, everyone?]
[Action]
[So he's leaving out some important details. Who cares?]
You really don't remember any of it, do ya?
[Action]
[He doesn't look completely satisfied, with the answer. He's going to have to meet this Derek and find out, for himself.]
Raph, I think having wings and living in a house above ground would be hard to forget, if I've been here before. [Considering this is the opposite of their situation back home. He'll cross his arms, and go to check out the living room.]
[Action]
[Action]
Where were you stayin' that you ain't froze over?
[Action]
Hey, honey, I'm home!
[Action]
Found some kind of unmanned tower, that I used for shelter. It had supplies, though none of the clothes fit.
[The door opening makes him turn and tense up. That is till he hears the familiar voice. He's surprised, why didn't they tell him she was here?]
April?
[Action]
[Action]
Yeah, surprise.
[Then he heads for the kitchen. It's easy to see that he's acting...strangely about all of this. If she's even paying attention because yeah, that's Leo in the living room.]
[Action]
[A split second later--and yes, thankfully Raph took care of the bags--the redhead launches herself at him.]
YOU'RE HERE!?
[She is half-laughing, half-crying at this point.]
[Action]
Yeah April...I'm here. I've been here a couple of days. It's good to see you as well.
[Action]
Days, April. Only Leo would study the journals that long without trying to use them.
[Action]
He'll wander back in again eventually, ghost-like and still so oddly quiet.]
[Action]
[Action]
[Of course Leo would, this is Leo the most paranoid of the turtles.]
I woke up in the forest out there. Didn't recognize anybody and no clue where I was. My swords missing wasn't helping much either.
But I'm fine. He was half frozen, aching shoulder but he's fine.]
[Action]
Place is called Luceti. I've been here eleven months, Raph a year. April... [He glances at her.] Four months now? People are drawn here from all different worlds. No one can leave, but sometimes you just get sent home. They say when you go back, no time has passed and you don't remember ever being gone.
No one knows what the wings are for, the barcodes are probably so the robots can find you, and almost no one cares that we're turtles.
[His dissertation done, he sips his own drink.]
[Action]
Yeah, it's a real picnic.
[Action]
[She shoots a glance at Raphael. He wasn't acting very...What's wrong?]
Re: [Action]
What's wrong Raph?
[He had initially put it off as Raph's usual moods, but something was just not right right. Especially when April and Don were so happy to see him.]
[Action]
Nothin's wrong. You're back, everybody's happy. Everything's just peachy.
[Action]
So. Questions?
Re: [Action]
[Yeah, you act really happy Raph. He regards him a minute more, before he looks to Don at his question.]
Yeah, what month is it? It wasn't winter back home. Also, have you guys been drafted into this...war that's going on?
[He's eying your damaged wing Raph. He's hoping none of them died. He wrapped his hands around the mug, silently relishing in it's, and the rooms, warmth. Now that he was more relaxed, his body was complaining about how cold it was.]
[Action]
[Raph turns his shell to Leo in a pointed way. He knows he's staring. He doesn't care if he's staring. Then he walks over to one of the couches and settles down there, his expression dark, staring straight ahead.
If they want to join him there then fine. He just doesn't feel much like talking.]
[Action]
[April takes a seat on the floor, cross-legged, knowing Donatello will be better at filling Leo in than she will.]
[Action]
[Don can only remain standing near Leo, and quietly ask:]
How did you find out about the war?
[Other than the fact that he's Leo, and absorbs information about battle as easily and mysteriously as Don learns about all things mechanical.]
