[ Hughes could understand why not everyone would be so keen on chatting it up with people who'd had relationships built on lies and intense memory-shifting. Not everyone had replied to what he'd put out, but that was to be expected; it was just short of a miracle that he'd spoken with as many not-family members as he had. He'd weighed his options, and decided on giving things time. It could either work out for better or for worse, in cases like this, but coming back around too late was better than pushing too soon.

[Sometime during the day, Leonardo will be receiving a message/call from Goemon. Even if the mortifying way in which he carried himself was due to the experiment, there is a small part of him that believes that, perhaps, had he more discipline, he could have resisted most of it. But, he will do his best to move onwards after making amends as he sees fit: taking responsibility for his arrogance, haughty disdain, and spite.]

I would like to apologize for my behaviour. Even if it was influenced by one of the Malnosso's experiments, my actions were inexcusable. [While it is simple and delivered evenly, his feelings are genuine.]

[On this particular day, cold and blustery as it (and indeed, the week) had proved to be, Robert is hoping that neither of his reptilian housemates are out and about - but especially Leo, because he has a certain thing to talk to him about, as per a suggestion by Don.

Knowledge of the turtles' respective patterns after living with them for some time means that Robert expects to come across Leo meditating or practising his katas. So that's why he's lurking around the back room uncomfortably, knocking on the door like he expects to instantly be a bother.]
